Privacy policy
Last updated 19 September 2026. In short: this website has no forms, no accounts and no advertising trackers.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. Odyssey Travels Sri Lanka runs as a set of static files with no database, no login, no contact form and no newsletter sign-up. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any similar profiling tool.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare records basic technical request data — IP address, timestamp, user agent and the page requested — for security, abuse prevention and traffic measurement. These logs are held by Cloudflare under their own terms and are retained for a limited period. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
If we add visitor statistics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors or collect personal data. If we ever add something that does, this page will be updated first.
When you message us
Every enquiry button on this site opens WhatsApp, your phone app or your email client. Nothing is submitted to this website.
- WhatsApp. Messages are delivered through WhatsApp and governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We see your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and what you send us.
- Email and phone. We see whatever you choose to send, and your number if you call.
We use this information solely to answer you and to plan and run your trip. We do not sell it, rent it or pass it to marketing companies. Where a booking requires it, we share the minimum necessary with the hotels, guesthouses, drivers and park or site operators involved in your itinerary.
How long we keep it
Enquiry conversations are kept while they are useful to us and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete your correspondence at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these, contact us atodysseytravels.srilanka@gmail.com.
Links to other sites
This site links to Tripadvisor, Facebook, Google Maps and the Sri Lankan government ETA portal. Once you follow a link, that site's privacy policy applies, not this one.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
